Located in the central academic core of campus, the four-story James E. Walker Library serves as MTSU’s main study and research facility. It houses offices for Library administration, including the Dean of the Library, and features comfortable seating areas, individual study carrels, group study rooms, public computer workstations, two library instruction rooms, a number of microfilm stations, and reading rooms. A coffee shop, which features group study rooms and study carrels, is located near the main floor entrance.
