FYE and Orientation

Our First Year Experience Program offers student opportunities to live in FYE Residence Halls with other First Year students, participate in First Year Seminars taught by our faculty and get involved in our Student Success Series. We know that the transition to SUNY Oneonta may be challenging and stressful and FYE is one of the many offices here to help with that transition. All students will participate in orientation which is designed to answer questions, introduce campus resources, and register for coursework.
