Peirce Cottage
The Peirce Cottage was named for the first headmistress of the Everglades School for Girls, Gertrude Peirce. For many years, it was a residence for the Middle School Director and now serves as the home to our Admission Office. It has the warm feeling of a New England cottage and the walls are adorned with photographs of our school’s unique history over the last century. The office of the Director of Admission and three other admission staff members are located here. Interviews for all applicants to Ransom Everglades School take place in the Peirce Cottage.
