Musick Alumni Center and Museum at the Parker House
The Parker House was built in 1989 as a gift to the university by Belton philanthropists Dee and JoAn Musick. It was named in honor of the university's president and first lady, Dr. and Mrs. Bobby E. Parker, who were the first residents of the home. It later served as the home to President Jerry G. Bawcom and his family. The first floor served as an area for hosting events, and the second floor served as the private residence for the university's first family. The space has been remodeled to house alumni association offices and space for receptions and special events, plus exhibit space for artifacts and documents related to the university’s history.
