President’s Office

John A. Delaney became UNF’s fifth president in 2003, and oversees a campus of more than 16,300 students, 600 faculty and more than 1,000 staff. During Delaney’s time as president, the University has experienced unprecedented physical growth with six new LEED-certified buildings in recent years, and the University’s privately funded endowment has nearly doubled. Before his tenure at UNF, Delaney also served two terms as Jacksonville’s mayor, spearheaded the Better Jacksonville Plan and created the Preservation Project land conservation program.
