Department of Foundations and Secondary Education
Working closely with area schools, the Department of Foundations and Secondary Education (FSE) prepares students to understand education’s foundational disciplines, general pedagogy and discipline specific pedagogy. Undergraduate programs include the following: Art Education; English Education; Mathematics Education; Math/Science Middle Grades Education; Physical Education; Science Education – Biology, Chemistry, Physics; and Social Studies Education. FSE also offers graduate education in curriculum and instruction for middle and high school teachers.
