The Mount Vernon Field is home to GW?s Men's and Women's Soccer and Women's Lacrosse. The field has also hosted both the Atlantic 10 Conference Men's Soccer Championship and the Atlantic 10 Conference Women's Lacrosse Championship.

The multipurpose, synthetic turf athletic field is used for intercollegiate and student club team practices and competitions, intramural and recreational activities, as well as other special events. GW students have access to the field for free play when there are no other scheduled activities.
