American history isn?t earthbound, but extends into the sky and beyond. At the National Air and Space Museum, visitors can learn about America?s contributions to aviation and space exploration, and get up close and personal with aircrafts that have made history.

The Museum has two locations ? it?s primary site on the National Mall, home to many icons of flight, and the Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, VA, which houses a large collection of air and spacecraft ? including a space shuttle.
