Tompkins Hall houses the POSITRONICS Lab (Planning, Optimization & Simulation for Robotics), where faculty and students develop methods to improve the operation of autonomous wheeled, manipulator, humanoid and legged robots. Their research aims to make robots better able to perform the tasks they are designed to perform.
