Under head coach Margie Foster-Cunningham, the GW Gymnastics team has returned to the success it saw in the 1990s, when the Colonials won five consecutive Atlantic 10 Championships and competed at NCAA Regionals in 11 out of 12 seasons. Now the Gymnastics team competes in the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL), which GW won in 2015 and 2017. The Colonials have also made three consecutive NCAA Regionals appearances.
