GW sailboats race across the Potomac.

Despite being of the of the Colonials' newest varsity programs, the GW Sailing team has quickly found a presence on the national scene. The Colonials climbed the regional ranks in 2015-16, winning a pair of Middle-Atlantic Intercollegiate Sailing Association (MAISA) Championships, while finishing 10th in the Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association (ICSA) Fowle Trophy Standings. GW added another MAISA Championship in the fall of 2017.
