To showcase sustainability, students created couture clothing from recycled materials and staged a "Trashion Show." A competition highlighting their creations. There are a number of ways students can get involved in sustainability at GW. Students can be Eco-Reps in their residence halls and join sustainability-related groups on campus, including Food Justice Alliance, GreenGW, Net Impact, Environmental Law Association, Food Recovery Network, and more. During the school year the Office of Sustainability holds Sustainable Student Leader meetings, where student leaders from these groups convene to share and collaborate on sustainability initiatives.
