Lafayette Hall was the third GW residence hall and the first GW major renovation to receive LEED Gold certification. ?Green? features of the building include an energy-efficient roof, windows, walls, and insulation and water-efficient plumbing fixtures; natural daylight and views for residents; thermal controls for all occupants; and green housekeeping practices.
