GW students have the unique opportunity to intern with world leaders in their fields. Our students have placed with Deloitte, Department of State, Google, the United Nations, National Institutes of Health, and the White House?to name a few. GW student Matthew Jiang spent a summer working at the D.C. China Center in the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development, where he interfaced with high-ranking Beijing government officials, the Chinese ambassador to the U.S. and the governor of Virginia.
