The university's annual Convocation and Welcome Day of Service often offers students, staff, and faculty the opportunity to work with local partners on projects focused on environmental sustainability, as well as other initiatives important to our community. In Prince George's County, GW students participated in a sustainable urban farming project at ECO City Farms.
