Geology Research Laboratory

The 980 square foot “rock cutting room” is used for geology instruction and preparation of geological materials for research. This area houses instrumentation used to prepare samples for petrographic and geochemical analysis. Rock saws, grinder/polishers, crushers, and sieving devices are available for use by students and faculty for research and class projects.
