Paul and Jane Meyer Christian Studies Center
The 18,800-square-foot building provides space for classes, meetings and special events. The first-floor foyer leads visitors to a suite of offices for the dean of Christian Studies and a student lounge. There are four classrooms, sized to accommodate students enrolled in Old and New Testament classes each year. A conference room offers an alternative space for smaller seminar courses. At the center of the second floor is a large library which houses a special collection of books on theology and Baptist life. The library will also serves as the home for UMHB's new Center for Baptist Studies. Offices for members of the religion faculty are clustered together on the second floor.
