Tompkins Hall of Engineering houses laboratories, classrooms, conference rooms, offices and several individual-sized laboratories for graduate student research.
In addition, Tompkins Hall is home to the GW Vault for the Future: twenty-four sealed copper boxes containing information dedicated to the study of engineering from several government agencies and national and local societies. Located under Tompkins?s front entrance, the Vault?s contents are to be opened in 2056, after having been sealed for 100 years.
